Thursday Night Adventure MTB Rides (May–November) are geared toward Intermediate to Advanced riders. No designated lead or sweep—just a crew of adventurous women ready to ride.
You’re new to mountain biking or still building confidence on the trails. You’re comfortable on a bike but may still be learning how to shift gears, brake effectively, and navigate basic trail obstacles like small roots and rocks. Green trails (wide, smooth, and flowy) are your happy place, and you’re working on balance, body position, and cornering.
You’ve got some experience on the trails and are getting more comfortable with shifting, braking, and maneuvering over roots and rocks. You can handle gentle climbs and descents, and you’re starting to explore blue trails. You may still walk some technical features but are eager to practice skills like cornering and line choice.
You ride regularly and feel at home on blue trails. You’re comfortable rolling over rocks and roots, riding moderate technical features, and maintaining control on steeper terrain. You can navigate switchbacks, small drops, and technical climbs, though you might still pause to assess some features before rolling in. You’re looking to refine your technique and build efficiency on the trail.
You’re a solid rider who confidently takes on most blue trails and is starting to push into black terrain. You enjoy technical challenges, steeper descents, and rock gardens, and you’re practicing skills like drops, jumps, and technical climbing. You can handle more aggressive trails but may still hesitate on larger technical features. You’re looking to refine your speed, control, and technique on harder terrain.
You thrive on technical challenges and enjoy tackling rock gardens, bigger drops, steeper descents, and tight corners. You can ride most features on black trails but may still be working up to more advanced trail features. You’re confident at speed, comfortable on technical climbs, and know how to choose your lines effectively.
You love pushing limits and riding aggressively on technical and high-speed terrain. You’re comfortable with significant drops, jumps, rock gardens, and steep, loose descents. You seek out the most challenging lines and are skilled at advanced maneuvers like manuals, wheel lifts, and high-speed cornering. For you, the gnar is where the fun begins!
